The Kids’ Choice Awards are a night where Hollywood’s littlest stars can get together and see their favorite stars get slimed, but even Nickelodeon’s annual awards show couldn’t help mentioning the year’s biggest moment in Hollywood: the Oscars’ best picture mishap where La La Land was mistakenly announced the winner instead of Moonlight.
While accepting the orange blimp for favorite kids’ show, Henry Danger star Jace Norman decided to stop mid-acceptance speech to announce that the critically acclaimed film Moonlight had actually won saying, “I didn’t even know they were nominated for this category.”
Nah, no mistake here Congrats #HenryDanger @JaceNorman for your superpowered wins at #KCA! pic.twitter.com/ErGkFJ0LiV
