The 2014 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards has set the first performers and presenters.
Indie rock outfit American Authors and Aloe Blacc will perform at the Saturday, March 29, fan-voted ceremony hosted by Mark Wahlberg, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. American Authors will take the stage for their single, “Best Day of My Life,” while Blacc will do a medley of “Wake Me Up,” which he co-wrote with Avicii, and “The Man.”

Kristen Bell, Ian Somerhalder and Will Arnett have also been added to the presenters list.
“We’re such big fans of Nickelodeon and the Kids’ Choice Awards! It’s an honor to be performing on the show March 29th, we can’t wait! PLEASE SLIME US!!!!” American Authors said in an enthusiastic statement. Blacc, meanwhile, was more reserved: “Looking forward to my very first Kids’ Choice Awards performance. Can’t wait to sing ‘Wake Me Up’ and ‘The Man’ with all my fans.”
American Authors is a Brooklyn-based band, whose “Best Day of My Life” single, off its debut album which came out March 3, hit No. 1 on the Billboard U.S. Adult Pop Songs chart. The group made a cameo on The CW’s The Carrie Diaries and were featured in The Secret Life of Walter Mitty.

Blacc’s third album Lift Your Spirit is currently No. 2 on the iTunes albums chart.

The Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards airs live March 29 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
