Sister Khloe Kardashian and her husband, Lamar Odom, attended the launch with Kim in her first public appearance since filing for divorce from Kris Humphries, her husband of only 72 days.
According to E!, Kim did an interview on local radio show, Kyle and Jackie O, in which she spoke about the timing of the business trip.

“In a tough situation, I think I’m trying to do the best that I can, and it’s actually a bit of an escape to be able to come here,” Kim says.
“I had this work commitment,” she goes on to say. “So I really wanted to honor that commitment and to come out here and to get my mind off everything. You know, there’s just no easy way to get through something like this.”

The Kardashian Kollection handbag line features “on-trend satchels, pops of bold color and sleek Cèline-esque square totes – all under the $100 mark,” reports Fabsugar Australia.
Kim filed for divorce on Monday citing irreconcilable differences. Humphries is at home with his family in Minnesota and released a statement later that day saying he was surprised by the news and still wanted to work on the marriage.

On Tuesday, Kim posted a lengthy statement saying reports that her August marriage was a hoax were untrue and that she married for love. Regardless, the E! reality star says that she should have ended the relationship earlier, but felt she was too caught up in the “hoopla” surrounding the event and its filming for E!’s two part wedding special that aired in early October.
