Despite reports to the contrary, fans will be able to keep up with Kim Kardashian for at least a few more years.
In a recent DuJour cover story, which features remarks from The Hollywood Reporter’s editorial director Janice Min, Kardashian allegedly says that season nine of her hit E! reality show will be her last. The story indicates that Kardashian — having signed on for the upcoming eighth and ninth seasons — will not extend her contract beyond what she has already committed to. Multiple outlets picked up on the story, blasting headlines all over the Internet about Kardashian calling it quits on the hit franchise and with many suggesting that Kardashian’s beau, Kanye West, is to blame.

“My boyfriend has taught me a lot about privacy,” she is quoted as saying. “I’m ready to be a little less open about some things, like my relationships. I’m realizing everyone doesn’t need to know everything. I’m shifting my priorities.”
Kardashian now is disputing the reports, saying that the reality franchise remains her first priority but maintaining a noncommittal stance on what the future might bring.
“In the article, I was asked about continuing on with Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” she writes on her official blog. “As everyone knows, we are extremely proud of the show and all of us are staying on through at least season 10. The show remains to be my number 1 priority and it’s a big part of my life and I enjoy every moment of it.”

She continues: “I’m looking forward to the new season and beyond. The fact is that I have many goals that I still need to reach and accomplish and I (like so many of you) don’t know where my life will be in the next couple of years, but I’m looking forward to continuing this journey.”
Season eight of Keeping Up With the Kardashians began filming this month and will premiere in June. According to her interview with DuJour, KUWTK will not include any explicit “baby stuff,” relating to the child she is expecting with West, and might or might not include her beau.
“We haven’t really gotten that far yet,” says Kardashian.
