Kim Kardashian West and her longtime makeup artist, Mario Dedivanovic, have previously held in-person beauty tutorials — otherwise known as The Master Class — and their next event had been scheduled for Oct. 14 in Dubai. However, in light of the recent Paris robbery, the sold-out class has been postponed, according to Dedivanovic.
“On behalf of myself and Kim Kardashian West, please accept our apologies. We are sorry to inform you that due to the recent events, we will be rescheduling the Dubai Masterclass with Kim Kardashian West,” the beauty guru wrote on his Instagram account.
“We understand the inconvenience that this has caused you. You will have the option to cancel and receive a full refund, or we can hold the ticket for the rescheduled date. Rescheduling details will be sent out within the week,” continued Dedivanovic. “We deeply and sincerely apologize from the bottom of our hearts. We truly hope you all understand the decision we had to make and look forward to our upcoming class.”
According to the website, the class not only offers “their coveted beauty secrets, but also business insight about what makes powerful and lasting client/artist relationships.” The duo also provide “tips on how to market yourself and how to build your social media presence.”
However, since the traumatizing incident, Kardashian and most of her family members (save for Kylie Jenner, who on Tuesday posted a throwback photo of herself on the beach) have remained quiet on their respective social media platforms.
