As previously reported by The Hollywood Reporter, Kim Kardashian rang in 2012 at a wild packed party at Tao in Vegas.
“It’s a tradition to ring in the new year here at Tao!” said Kardashian, as she arrived to host another New Year’s Eve bash at her fave nightclub.
Kim wore a skin-tight white Gucci minidress, Loren jewels and Christian Louboutin heels. She also showed off her new short straight bangs — presumably those clip-in hair extension bangs like the ones Kristin Chenoweth admitted wearing — made by the same woman who makes faux bangs for Jennifer Lopez — on Ellen Degeneres‘ talk show in December.
Her mother, Kris Jenner, continued with her menswear penchant with a Dolce & Gabbana pantsuit, bowtie and a Judith Leiber clutch. Also in the mix, her Dancing With The Stars partner Mark Ballas, Carla DiBello and other close friends. They greeted the crowd, posed for photos, then trotted off to a private dining room where she toasted her friends with Midori cocktails.
After dinner, Kris and Mark showed off their dance moves as Mark dipped and spun the reality mom around before giving her a hip hop dance lesson. “I am ready to move forward and not look back. I learned a lot of about myself this past year and at the end of the day you always have to trust your gut,” a breathless Kim said of 2011. “You’ve got to believe in love. I still do.”
At the club Kim danced and sang along to a Britney Spears song and then her mom had DJ Ross One surprise her daughter with Kim’s song “Jam”. As midnight approached, Kim told the crowd, “I am so excited and can’t wait for 2012 to come. Countdown with me!”
And, of course, they did.
