Kim Kardashian’s wedding to NBA player Kris Humphries featured a guest list that was 500 people strong.
As you might expect, several in Hollywood were among those scoring invitations to Saturday’s nuptials.
The Hollywood Reporter has learned that the guest list included two executives from E!’s original programming and series development department — senior vp Damla Dogan and vp Jason Sarlanis — as well as E! PR exec John Rizzotti; famed attorney Howard Weitzman; WME’s Lance Klein and Ivo Fisher; APA’s Brian Dow; Jason Binn, chairman and founder of magazine publisher Niche Media; talent manager and music executive-turned-movie/Broadway producer Freddy DeMann; PMK/BNC’s Jill Fritzo; attorney Robert Shapiro, who defended O.J. Simpson alongside Kardashian’s late father, Robert Kardashian; and former talent manager Jeff Wald.
Other guests included Today co-host Kathie Lee Gifford, Demi Lovato, Eva Longoria, Lindsay Lohan, recording artist/producer Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds, Fox News Channel’s Greta Van Susteren, Ryan Seacrest and Julianne Hough, Brody Jenner (Kardashian’s stepbrother) and Avril Lavigne, Mario Lopez, Ciara, Girls Gone Wild mastermind Joe Francis, George Lopez, tennis stars Venus and Serena Williams and TV personalities Lara Spencer and Maria Menounos, former NBA star Scottie Pippen, former boxing champ Sugar Ray Leonard.
The couple married on an 11-acre estate in Montecito, Calif. The only cameras allowed inside during the ceremony were from E! Entertainment, which will air a two-part special, Kim’s Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event, on Oct. 9 and 10 as part of a lucrative deal with Kardashian.
Among the performers were Stevie Wonder and Earth, Wind and Fire; DJ Cassidy also spun tunes.
THR reported that exclusive photos of Kardashian’s wedding to Humphries were sold to People for $1.5 million, according to insiders. The glossy paid $300,000 to the couple for their engagement announcement in May. British magazine OK! paid $100,000 for the exclusive bridal shower coverage.
Saturday’s wedding has been estimated to cost at least $500,000, but those costs are offset by items like a free $20,000 Vera Wang wedding gown and the lucrative media deals.
