There’s a new Princess in the Kings of Leon family. Nathan Followill and wife Jessie Baylin welcomed a daughter Violet Marlowe on Wednesday in Nashville.
According to the band’s rep, Violet was born at 4:01 p.m. and weighed 7 lbs., 13 ounces. It’s the first child for the Kings of Leon drummer and the “Hurry Hurry” singer, who tied the knot in 2009.
“My heart has been stolen and it feels so good,” Followill said on Twitter.
I can proudly announce the birth of my sweet angel Violet Marlowe Followill. My heart has been stollen and it feels so good.

Violet joins a growing roster of cousins in the Followill clan: Dixie Pearl, the daughter of Nathan’s brother Caleb, and Knox Cameron, the son of cousin Matthew.
