Kristen Stewart had the interwebs all abuzz last week as she debuted an asymmetrical orange bob with a white woven harem pant and crop-top ensemble at Chanel that hearkened back to both late ’80s Madonna and ’50s Jean Harlow. Stewart always brings a freshness to the red carpet, and her Paris Fashion Week appearance at the side of Karl Lagerfeld himself showed a playfulness and individuality she doesn’t usually display at more formal events. Stewart’s stylist Tara Swennen weighed in, noting how “her Christian Louboutin So Kate Stilettos complemented the monochromatic theme of her white Chanel summer look.”

Carine Roitfeld
Esteemed doyenne of fashion and editor-in-chief of CR Fashion Book (a publication of Visionaire Publishing Group), Carine Roitfeld stepped out at Paris Fashion Week in characteristic flair. Showcasing a pair of Hermes green, coral and black floral peacock knee-high, high-heel boots, she mixed the scintillating shoes with multiple changes of outfit in monochromatic white or black for maximum impact. Front row at Miu Miu, Versace, Shiaperelli, Dior and Giambattista Valli, just to name a few, the fetching footwear caught the eye of the paparazzi as well as the fashion crowd, continuing to cement Roitfeld’s role as the ultimate arbiter of luxe chic.

Win Butler
Arcade Fire played the British Summertime Festival on July 3 in London’s Hyde Park to a sweaty audience, and Win Butler, who is rumored to have size 15 feet, rocked the stage, crowd surfed and stood on speakers in a pair of black platform-soled, treaded, lace-up moto leather boots. This choice supported both the showman’s need for acrobatic stage moves and cool factor — he paired the ensemble with a black-trimmed white summer suit. Rock on!
