Days after Kylie Jenner’s brother-in-law Kanye West tweeted out “1000% there will never be a Kylie Puma anything” because of his Adidas X Yeezy collaboration, Puma has confirmed their deal with the model and reality TV star.
“I am pleased and excited to be able to confirm that Puma is indeed working with Kylie Jenner,” said Adam Petrick, global director of brand and marketing for Puma, in a statement released on Wednesday. “Kylie will be featured in the brand’s spring/summer women’s training campaign launching in April 2016. Kylie represents a fresh and exciting new era for fashion, and we couldn’t think of a more fitting and influential female to headline this campaign for Puma.”
“Puma we gone give you your measly million dollars back!!! Never try to divide the family!!!” Kanye also tweeted, ahead of the season 3 debut of his Yeezy line at Madison Square Garden.
Though the ink may be dry on Kylie’s deal with the athletic brand, the 18-year-old showed her brother-in-law some love this week, stepping out during New York Fashion Week wearing Adidas.
Puma also unveiled its first collection with Rihanna during New York Fashion Week, Fenty X Puma.
