It’s not known exactly which pieces Gaga purchased. But the sale raised more than $5 million, according to Reuters. And a single jacket worn by Jackson during his Bad tour was auctioned off for $240,000.
Gaga may have become intrigued by Jackson’s costumes when she made an appearance in Philip Treacy‘s catwalk show during London Fashion Week in September. Treacy’s show featured several of the King of Pop’s jackets and costumes worn onstage with the iconic milliner’s always over-the-top headwear.
