Lady Gaga is getting married.
The 32-year-old thanked her “fiance” Christian Carino as she finished speaking Monday night at Elle‘s 25th annual Women in Hollywood event. A message seeking comment from her publicist was not returned.
“Thank you to all the loved ones in my life. [Manager] Bobby [Campbell], I love you,” Gaga said onstage. “Everyone at table five. My fiance, Christian. All the loved ones in my life who take care of me every day. And Ryan Murphy, thanks for giving me my first leading role [in American Horror Story: Hotel]. You know that Golden Globe belongs to you.”
Gaga was sporting a rock on her left hand as she gave an emotional speech in which she spoke about sexual assault and mental illness. This summer while traveling to Venice, Toronto and London to promote her film A Star Is Born, Gaga was wearing the large pink-stoned ring with every look, sparking rumors that she has been engaged at least since August (Us Weekly reports he popped the question in summer 2017).
The Grammy winner and actress began dating the 49-year-old talent agent in February 2017, according to People. Glamour reported their early dates were at the Grammys after party, the Super Bowl and a Kings of Leon concert (he reportedly already has a tattoo of Gaga’s face on his arm — Pete Davidson much?). Carino’s clients include Margot Robbie, Johnny Depp, Keira Knightley, Saoirse Ronan and Eddie Redmayne.
Gaga was engaged to Taylor Kinney before they broke up in 2016. The pair had dated for about five years, before Gaga posted on Instagram, “Taylor and I have always believed we are soulmates. Just like all couples we have ups and downs, and we have been taking a break. We are both ambitious artists, hoping to work through long-distance and complicated schedules to continue the simple love we have always shared. Please root us on. We’re just like everybody else and we really love each other.”
