Lady Gaga — recycler of outfits — has brought back the most talked-about accessory from this year’s Oscars for their street-style debut.Yes, ladies and gentlemen, those infamous red dishwashing gloves are back.

Gaga sported the elbow-length red gloves with a black-and-white polka dot blazer while stepping out in Manhattan Sunday afternoon, marking their first sighting since Mother Monster wore them with her custom Azzedine Alaia gown on the Oscars red carpet. Although it’s not currently typical glove-wearing weather in New York, we’re guessing that perhaps Gaga just wanted to make sure that giant rock on her left hand was fully protected.
Also competing for “Most Attention-Grabbing Accessory” of Gaga’s ensemble were a pair of Andy Warhol-inspired banana pumps. But though it was close, we’d have to say that the gloves are the winner here.
