They may be competing for viewers in the tight ratings race, but the late-night hosts were full of positive encouragement for Seth Meyers.
Before the former Saturday Night Live castmember made his debut at the helm of Late Night, Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel and Craig Ferguson all had good luck messages for the newcomer.

The Tonight Show host Fallon started Monday’s show by referring to Meyers’ inevitable nerves. “I felt the same way last week,” he said, adding: “He’ll do great!”
Sharing the love, Meyers thanked his predecessor Fallon when he took the hot seat for the first time — and even penned him a famous “Thank you note.”
