Oscar nominee Laura Dern is lining up her next project.
The actress is in talks to join Michelle Williams in Kelly Reichardt’s next film, which has also cast Jared Harris and James Le Gros.
Reichardt, who helmed 2013’s Night Moves and 2008’s Wendy and Lucy (which also starred Williams), is writing and directing the untitled indie based on short stories by Maile Meloy. Casting seems to be moving along quickly as the film is scheduled to shoot in Spring in Montana.
Anish Savjani and Neil Koop are producing the film with Todd Haynes executive producing.
Dern, who will head to the Oscars this Sunday for her best supporting actress nom for Wild, has previously starred in The Fault in Our Stars, When the Game Stands Tall and the upcoming 99 Homes. She’s repped by CAA, Untitled Entertainment and Gang, Tyre.
Harris, known for his work on AMC’s Mad Men, will next be seen in The Man from U.N.C.L.E. His previous credits include Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, Lincoln and Pompeii. He’s repped by ICM Partners, Independent Talent Group in the UK and the Gateway Management Company.
Like Williams, Le Gros has worked with Reichardt previously on her feature Night Moves. The actor, repped by Paradigm and Untitled Entertainment, will next be seen in Nadia Litz’s film The People Garden.
