Lauryn Hill and her baby boy are both doing well after a frightening delivery on Saturday.
According to reports, the singer welcomed her sixth child on July 23rd. A source told BlackCelebKids that although “mother and baby are fine,” the little boy was delivered with the umbilical cord wrapped around his neck.

“All is well now and everyone is happy,” the source added.
The news landed Hill’s name on Twitter’s trending topics list, with fans offering a mix of congratulations, requests for new music and lighthearted jokes about her growing family.

Speculation still swirls around the newborn child’s paternity, as the father has yet to be identified. Bob Marley’s son, Rohan Marley, fathered Hill’s five elder children, though he has claimed that the sixth is not his. He has two additional children from a previous relationship.
