Lady Gaga proudly made her way to the stage to accept her Golden Globe award for best performance by an actress in a miniseries or motion picture made for TV. As she was walking forward, she brushed past Leonardo DiCaprio, who was laughing with his elbow up on his chair.
As she walked by, DiCaprio looked up at Gaga and made a scared face, which was captured on camera. Buzzfeed‘s Kate Aurthur pointed it out on a vine she shared on Twitter, and the clip quickly went viral.
Gaga accepted the trophy for her performance in America Horror Story: Hotel.

After the show, The Revenant star, who later took home the best actor in a drama award, was shocked to hear that his reaction to Gaga pushing away his arm had become one of the night’s top trending moments.
“Oh lord, that’s trending, huh?” he told Entertainment Tonight backstage, before offering an explanation. “I just didn’t know what was passing me — that’s all!”
