The Film Society of Lincoln Center has named Lesli Klainberg as its new managing director and Anne Chaisson as its new associate director of corporate sponsorships.
Klainberg, who is joining FSLC to manage operations on behalf of the Film Society, its programs, film festivals, theaters and educational outreach, previously served as the producer of the 49th New York Film Festival and executive director of NewFest, New York’s LGBT film festival. In her new role, she will continue producing the annual New York Film Festival.

Through her company Orchard Films, Klainberg also has been a documentary producer and director. For the last three years, she has also been one of the Lab Leaders of the IFP Documentary Film Lab held in New York, and in 2009 she served as a consulting producer for the Sundance Documentary Film Program and produced the IFP Filmmaker Forum during Independent Film Week.
Chaisson, who specializes in fund raising and event production, has headed development for the Hamptons International and Nantucket Film Festivals as well as produced the annual IFP Gotham Independent Film Awards. She co-founded The Reel School, is a member of the IFP Producers Group, New York Women in Film and Television and is the advisory co-chair of the Hamptons International Film Festival. She founded Dirty Rice Film in 2002 and has more than 12 years experience developing and producing indie films.
