Who ya gonna call? Not the designers, apparently.
Leslie Jones, who stars in the upcoming Ghostbusters reboot with Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig and Kate McKinnon, took to Twitter on Tuesday morning to share how no designers wanted to dress her for the upcoming premiere.
“It’s so funny how there are no designers wanting to help me with a premiere dress for movie,” she tweeted. “Hmmm that will change and I remember everything.”

Not long after her tweet, designer Christian Siriano — who has dressed a bevy of curvy stars including Danielle Brooks, Jennifer Hudson and Uzo Aduba — jumped in the conversation, tweeting at Jones with two emojis: one with his hand up and another of a waving hand. To which the Saturday Night Live star responded, “YAAAAAASSSSSS.”

The eveningwear brand THEIA also responded to the tweet, writing, “We would lvoe [sic] to dress you!!”

Though Jones doesn’t specify which designers declined to dress her, she later wrote that evening, “Hmm what a difference a tweet makes. Should I name the designers that didn’t look out? Put y’all ass on blast. You will not get my love later.”

As we wait to see which designer ends up dressing the comedian, may we suggest either a Haider Ackermann evening suit, Sophie Theallet gown (a Michelle Obama favorite) or DVF wrap gown for showing off her athletic figure?
