Logo has given green lights to three series for 2011 including a second season of Be Good Johnny Weir, a docusoap about the figure skater that originally aired on Rainbow’s Sundance channel.
Additional original series are Pretty Hurts, which follows the exploits of Beverly Hills “injector to the stars” Rand Rusher, and Setup Squad, about a New York City dating service that hooks clients up with wing men — or wing women.
The first season of Be Good Johnny Weir will air early next year with a newly commissioned second season targeted up for summer 2011. Pretty Hurts, from Go Go Luckey Entertainment, bows in February. And Setup Squad, from Leftfield Pictures, will premiere in April.
The announcement comes on the heels of acquisitions of Nip/Tuck, which began airing on Logo this month, and Will & Grace, which will come to the network in 2013.
