While the London Riots blaze on, Jamie Oliver is getting back to business.
The Food Revolution host’s Birmingham location, called Jamie’s Italian, suffered damage from the mass of rioters sweeping the UK streets on Tuesday. Oliver took to Twitter to share updates with his fans amid the madness.

“Sadly my restaurant in Birmingham got smashed up windows all gone whole area closed can’t open,” he wrote. “Staff and customers all safe!!”
Nearly nine hours later, Oliver informed his followers that order had been restored while thanking police officials and good Samaritans for their hard work.

“Birmingham restaurant got fixed up quick, sad for so many of the other shop owners especially the small family run businesses in this climate,” he wrote. “Respect to the community support on the clean up people have ben [sic] amazing!!”
The damaged restaurant is part of a chain of 21, with its Birmingham location planted in the Bullring Shopping Centre. Miraculously, Oliver’s cooking school in Clapham Junction was one of only a few unharmed shops in the area.

“My cookery school was in the thick of calpham riot but seems there [sic] not interested in reading or cooking,” he posted.
“So sad to see whats happening in UK with these Riots! All gone mad!” the foodie also said. “Time to get our country back now we need 2 come down hard on these idiots.”
