It’s tough to imagine the funny-ladies of today without having the influence of the iconic Lucille Ball.
In honor of what would be her 100th birthday, the Hollywood Museum hosted a special exhibit, which also coincides with the 60th anniversary of I Love Lucy. Daughter Lucie Arnaz was in attendance for the bash, which was held in the historic Max Factor building – the same place where Ball had her hair dyed red.
CBS DVD and Paramount Home Entertainment co-hosted the event on Thursday, Aug. 4, as part of the DVD release of The Best of I Love Lucy, a 14-episode collection. The exhibit will be on display until Nov. 30.
