LONDON – Jason Connery‘s Of Corset’s Mine has secured the cross-dressing chops of William Moseley, Camilla Belle, Derek Jacobi, Christine Baranski and Lucy Punch for what is billed as a sexy period comedy.
Written by Sharon Soboil, the Connery-directed film has also secured the worldwide sales services of the U.K.’s Works International ahead of the upcoming Marche du Film in Cannes.
The script details the story of a 19th century womanizing aristocrat who is forced to disguise himself as a woman to save his sister’s inheritance, at the expense of losing the love of his life.
Billed as a comedy of errors with corsets, the movie is set to start shooting in Ireland in June this year and is produced by Jasper Graham and Kelley Reynolds.
