When MAC Cosmetics first released its Selena collection, inspired by the late singer Selena Quintanilla-Perez, the beauty line was met with much fanfare. It immediately sold out, and some folks even tried to re-sell the products for more than $3,000 on eBay.
Due to the overwhelming demand, MAC announced Monday that it’s bringing back the Selena collection, just in time for the holiday season.
MAC Selena will drop on maccosmetics.com in the U.S. and Canada on Wednesday, Dec. 28, at 12:01 a.m. ET, and the following day at belk.com, bloomingdales.com, dillards.com, macys.com, nordstrom.com, saksfifthavenue.com and thebay.com. The makeup range will also be available in MAC Cosmetics stores in the U.S. and Canada, as well as respective department stores, on Thursday, Dec. 29. Customers are limited to two SKUs per product on MAC Cosmetics’ website and a max of three SKUs per product in MAC stores.
The collection is comprised of a lipglass ($17); lipsticks ($18 each); eye shadows ($18 each); mascara ($18); liquid eye liner ($21); powder blush duo ($29); and an oil-purpose brush ($35).
Make sure to put a reminder on your phone because there’s a good chance the line will sell out in an instant — again.
