The Makeup Artists and Hairstylists Guild announced Tuesday the nominations for the Makeup Artists and Hairstylist Guild Awards, honoring makeup artists and hairstylists in film, TV, commercial and live theater. The award ceremony will be held Feb. 15 at Paramount Studios.
Among those nominated for feature films are the hairstylists behind Lee Daniels’ The Butler, One Chance and Unfinished Song, and makeup artists for Prisoners, August: Osage County and One Chance. In TV, the hairstylists for Breaking Bad, Bates Motel and The Voice, and makeup artists for Glee, Super Fun Night and Breaking Bad, were nominated.
Voting will begin online Jan. 21, and closes Feb. 11th at 5 p.m. All 1,800+ MUAHS members vote during the final balloting.
