According to MAC senior vice president/group creative director James Gager, “Mariah is the over-the-top pop and beauty icon. … Her Beauty Icon collection will be everything you think of when you think MAC and Mariah.” As for Carey, she called the shade “elegant, sophisticated and glamorous” and promised her forthcoming collection launching in 2016 “is certain to not disappoint.” She’s certainly got our attention.
