Martin Scorsese will present Mel Brooks with the American Film Institute’s 41st Life Achievement Award at the black-tie gala, which will be held at the Dolby Theatre on June 6.
The tribute is scheduled to air on TNT on June 15 as part of an all-night tribute to Brooks and on Turner Classic Movies on July 24.

Scorsese’s new film The Wolf of Wall Street will be released by Paramount on Nov. 15.
TCM’s celebration of Brooks’ career will include airings of The Twelve Chairs, making its TCM debut, and The Producers. TCM will also present classic interviews with Brooks by Johnny Carson and Dick Cavett.
