Brent Friedman has been named senior vp technology at Mass Hysteria Entertainment. He will head the company’s efforts to bring its proprietary interactive experience into the theatrical arena.
Friedman, co-founder of Electric Farm Entertainment, worked on MTV’s “Valemont” and Crackle.com’s “Woke Up Dead,” starring Jon Heder. He created the multiplatform series “Afterworld” and “Gemini Division.”
“As evidenced by his innovations at Electric Farm, Brent has a keen understanding of the unique relationship that’s developing today between technology and content,” Mass Hysteria CEO Daniel Grodnik said. “Brent will be spearheading Mass Hysteria’s efforts to bring its proprietary interactive experience into the theatrical arena.”
Said Friedman: “I’m excited to help Mass Hysteria re-invent the movie-going experience. I think it’s going to be revolutionary.”
