Following a new deal with RNC Television in Colombia, the Shine Group on Friday announced that its reality cooking show MasterChef had now been adapted for more than 50 global territories.
Arriving on the heels of MasterChef Chile, MasterChef Brazil and MasterChef Argentina, Colombia also marks the fourth Latin American deal for the show in the past eight months.

“We are delighted that MasterChef has surpassed the 50 adaptation milestone,” said Shine International CEO Nadine Nohr in a statement. “The scalable and adaptable nature of the format has obviously been a big part of its success; however, it’s the essence of the show that is truly distinctive: the story of ordinary lives being changed through the realization of a dream via a unique combination of challenges and values.”
Next week, MasterChef will land in Cannes for a MIPCOM showcase, where restaurateur and U.S. and Italian show judge Joe Bastianich will be joined on a panel by CEOs from across Shine’s international outposts.
