In case you haven’t heard, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are expected to tie the knot in spring 2018.
The happy news comes two weeks after The Hollywood Reporter reported that Markle would be exiting her role as paralegal-turned-lawyer Rachel Zane on Suits ahead of a likely season eight. There was already much speculation that she would be leaving the USA Network series after she started dating Prince Harry in 2016.
Following Kensington Palace’s announcement on Monday morning, a number of Markle’s Suits co-stars responded to her engagement.
Patrick J. Adams, who plays Markle’s TV fiancé Mike Ross, posted a cheeky tweet, writing, “She said she was just going out to get some milk…”

Adams deleted his social media accounts in August after posting an on-set photo with Markle, in which she’s seen giving him a kiss on the cheek with the caption, “Ross and Rachel — the next generation.” The actor later told Esquire that, “It was such an innocent moment of sentimentality that was twisted into something totally different. It made me feel like … why put myself through this? We’re like brother and sister, it’s not like it was lurid or anything, but it just became a story that people wanted to talk about.”
Wendell Pierce, who stars as Markle’s onscreen father Robert Zane, gave his blessing. “Congratulations to my TV daughter Meghan Markle and Prince Harry on the news of their wedding engagement. Harry you have her TV Father’s blessing. Robert Zane approves @Suits_USA,” he wrote on Twitter.

Suits creator Aaron Korsh also took to Twitter to congratulate the couple, writing, “Congratulations to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry on their engagement. Wonderful news, I wish you both a lifetime of happiness. Love, Aaron.”

In addition to her fairy-tale engagement, Markle was most recently spotted on Suit‘s Toronto set filming a wedding scene with Adams. Sounds like wedding bells are ringing all around.
