Megyn Kelly’s NBC newsmagazine show will bow Sunday, June 4, at 7 p.m. ET/PT. The program, called Sunday Night With Megyn Kelly, will be her first full-length appearance on the network, though she is likely to pop up before then to promote the program and also in promos.
Kelly also hopes to negotiate a sit-down with Russian president Vladimir Putin. She will moderate the plenary session of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), set to run June 1-3, with Putin. Known as “Russia’s Davos,” the conference attracts world leaders and business luminaries.
The first hour of her show, which will face CBS News’ formidable 60 Minutes, will also reportedly feature an interview with Fox Sports personality Erin Andrews. Last year, Andrews, 39, revealed that she was diagnosed and received treatment for cervical cancer. The revelation came months after she was awarded $55 million in damages after a highly public civil trial against the Nashville Marriott, where she was filmed through her hotel room peephole in 2009. The company appealed and the case was settled for an undisclosed amount.
It’s unclear how many installments of the Sunday show will air before August, when it is scheduled to go on hiatus to make room for the network’s Sunday Night Football preshow.
Kelly will bow as Today‘s 9 a.m. host in September. Her debut is expected to include an interview with the Kardashian family, including Kim Kardashian West. The Kardashians are part of the wider NBCUniversal family via their programs on E!
