Melania and Donald Trump arrived in Tel Aviv on Monday as the president continues his first trip abroad.
They were walking off Air Force One when Donald reached his hand back in what appeared like an attempt to hold the first lady’s hand. In a video released of the moment, it looks like Melania swats his hand away, refusing to hold it.

The perceived slight caused an uproar on Twitter, as social media users mocked Trump for the nature of his relationship with his wife. Chrissy Teigen tweeted out a video of the moment saying, “I kinda dig how much she hates him.”

Obama’s White House photographer Pete Souza, who has been using his Instagram account to not-so-subtly troll Trump, posted a photo of then-President Barack and First Lady Michelle Obama holding hands at an event in Selma.
