This year’s Met Gala is getting the E! treatment — that is, the network’s Live From the Red Carpet coverage will be making its debut and bringing fashion’s biggest night to the small screen May 2.
Fashion fans can catch coverage next Monday at 7:30 p.m. ET (taped delayed PT), as E! News‘ Catt Sadler and Zuri Hall will interview the stars arriving in their best interpretation of this year’s “Manus x Machina” theme (also the name of this year’s exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art). E!’s Guiliana Rancic and Zanna Roberts Rassi also will be joined by Olivia Culpo and stylist Johnny Wujek live from a New York studio to discuss all the looks that will be hitting the star-studded scene.
E! News is airing next Monday and Tuesday at 7 p.m. to report on all things surrounding the Met Gala. Coverage will include “behind-the-scenes scoop and interviews you won’t get anywhere else” and “juicy details from inside the invite-only after party,” according to a release.
In case that isn’t enough, coverage continues with Fashion Police on May 3 at 8 p.m. You can expect co-hosts Melissa Rivers, Brad Goreski, guest co-host Tim Gunn and special co-hosts Margaret Cho and NeNe Leakes critiquing and poking fun at what’s to come on the fashion front.
Fashion Police is produced by Wilshire Studios, with Melissa Rivers and Lisa Bacon as executive producers. Gary Snegaroff, Shaun D. Smith and Gerry Johnston serve as the exec producers for Live From the Red Carpet, also produced by Wilshire Studios.
