Thursday is Michelle Obama‘s 49th birthday — and she’s celebrating with a new Twitter account. The Twitter handle is FLOTUS (for first lady of the United States).

Her previous handle @MichelleObama has existed for a while. But the tweets were predominately generated by staff members of the Obama 2012 campaign, not by Obama herself. For that feed, tweets written by Obama are signed “-mo.” For her new FLOTUS one, a personal feed, it will be all Michelle, all the time.
But that’s not all. Obama has also changed up her hair, adding full bangs, a photo of which she has posted on her new social media account, though she doesn’t mention it. But the fact that she posted the photo leads one to believe she wants follower feedback.
