Golden Globe winner Michelle Williams made the best-dressed lists for her elegant midnight blue Jason Wu gown Sunday night. But now she graces the cover of GQ wearing, well, very little. The star of My Week With Marilyn poses in black lace lingerie and the requisite blond Marilyn wig on the cover. Inside, she wears a nude bra and panties, leaning up against a wall, her cream cashmere sweater sliding off her shoulders.
In the story, entitled, Some LIke Her Hot, she also opens up about her “cosmic” meeting and relationship with the late actor Heath Ledger, the father of her daughter, Matilda, 6, whom she dedicated her Globe win to on Sunday (Jan. 15).
“Our initial meeting, the circumstances of how we first met, were cosmic or something,” she says, adding, “It’s a bit like: We had a lot of things to do, because we didn’t have a lot of time, or something.”
Surprisingly, the actress doesn’t think of herself as sexy: “I wouldn’t say that that would be one of my first qualities as a human being … being sexy. And I think because my character on Dawson’s Creek was sexy … sexualized … sexual, I saw all the negative attention and connotations that can come along with that. And that those things can keep people from seeing you clearly.”
