Jersey Shore star Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino has been arrested following a fistfight in a tanning salon in Middlewood, N.J., a law enforcement spokesman confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter.
Police responded to a 911 call about a fight in Boca Tanning Club at 2:10 p.m. on Tuesday. Police would not confirm the identity of anyone else involved in the fight, although TMZ reported that the altercation was between Mike and his brother Frank Sorrentino.

“[Mike Sorrentino] was arrested,” Detective Lieutenant Stephen Bollinger told THR. “Charges are still pending.”
Mike Sorrentino, 31, is currently still in custody at the police station. “He is being processed,” Bollinger added. “He’ll have a court date in the future.” Bail has not yet been set.

Mike and his family own the Boca Tanning Club chain of tanning salons. He starred on MTV’s reality hit Jersey Shore for six seasons and competed on Dancing With the Stars in season 11. He is set to star with his family on the upcoming TV Guide Network reality show The Sorrentinos, premiering July 15.
Mike checked himself into rehab in March 2012 due to issues with prescription meds.
