Minnie Driver has joined the cast of Serendipity Point Films’ horror-musical Stage Fright, which begins production Oct. 6 in Ontario, Canada.
Writer-director Jerome Sable’s film concerns a musical theater camp that is being terrorized by a serial killer who hates musicals. Driver will play a Broadway star, who is the mother to the movie’s two protagonists, campers played by Allie MacDonald and Douglas Smith. Meat Loaf appears in the film as a former Broadway producer who is the camp director.
“It’s a real thrill to have Minnie and Meat Loaf join our talented cast of singers and actors as we bring this horror-musical to life,” said Sable, who also composed the film’s music and co-wrote lyrics with Eli Batalion.
