ITV Studios Global Entertainment has signed a multi-year drama output deal with Chinese Internet giant Tencent, which will see the Chinese company take more than 100 hours annually from ITV, including titles such as the Golden Globe award-winning Dancing on the Edge and recent series Endeavour, Murdoch Mysteries and Miranda.

In a separate multi-year deal with broadcaster Shanghai Media Group, Shanghai will pick up 120 hours of programming annually across a range of genres, including reality formats Cook Me The Money, Hell’s Kitchen USA, 60 Minute Makeover UK and Dancing on Ice UK. ITV Studios also inked a separate deal with Chinese VOD group Sohu for the Sundance Channel drama Rectify, which follows a man released from jail on DNA evidence after serving 19 years on Georgia’s death row.
In Thailand, ITV Studios closed a deal with pay TV broadcaster Next Step for 300 hours of factual and nature programming, including titles such as Too Cute!, Desert Seas and Big, Bigger, Biggest.
