Miranda Kerr leaves little to the imagination on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar Australia’s latest Jan./Feb. 2016 issue, wearing only a sky-high pair of Christian Louboutin stilettos, a Swarovski necklace and, well, nothing else.
The racy photo, photographed by Steven Chee at The London West Hollywood hotel, was not well-received by all — specifically shoppers at Cole’s, Australia’s second largest supermarket chain.

According to WWD, 3,000 copies were pulled from shelves on Thursday morning. “In response to feedback from our customers, many of whom shop with their children, we removed the magazine from sale earlier this week,” a spokesman for Coles told the trade.
Harper’s Bazaar Australia editor Kellie Hush remains unfazed, however, especially given that supermarket distribution accounts for a small percentage of the glossies distributions. “It’s disappointing, but I’m very proud of it,” she said. “It’s not going to stop me from pushing boundaries again, that’s for sure.”
