Contestants from more than 80 countries will compete for the title of Miss Universe in a telecast airing at 9 p.m. Monday night on NBC.
STORY: Miss USA: Californian Wins Crown
Today’s Natalie Morales and Bravo’s Andy Cohen will host the 60th annual competition, which airs live From Sao Paulo, Brazil – the first time the pageant will be held in the South American country. Telemundo will air a Spanish simulcast.
Representing the United States will be Alyssa Campanella, who, competing as Miss California, took home the Miss USA crown in June. The 21-year-old, who hails from Los Angeles, and her fellow competitors will be judged in three categories: swimsuit, evening gown and interview.

Judges for this year’s telecast include actress Vivica A. Fox; racecar driver and Dancing With the Stars champ Helio Castroneves; Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Adrienne Maloof; newscaster Connie Chung; former Miss Universe Amelia Vega; Tony winner Lea Salonga (Miss Saigon); Farouk Shami, owner of hair and skin care product manufacturer Farouk Systems; Italo Zanzi, deputy secretary general of CONCACAF (Confederation of North, Central American and Carribean Association of Football); and Brazilian model Isabelli Fontana.
The Miss Universe and Miss USA pageants are a joint venture between Donald Trump and NBCUniversal.
