ITV period drama Mr. Selfridge, starring Jeremy Piven, drew lower ratings on Sunday for its season-three premiere, according to overnights data.
Overnights.tv said the show launched to its lowest ever audience of 3.8 million, or a share of 15.3 percent of U.K. households watching TV at the time. That compared to the season-two debut overnight audience of 4.85 million and the first season’s launch with 6.90 million viewers.

On the BBC, Call the Midwife built on its season-four opener to reach 9 million viewers and a share of 34.5 percent on BBC One. That was up 700,000 from the first episode of the season.
And on BBC Two, hit motoring show Top Gear returned for its latest season with an average overnight audience of nearly 5.3 million viewers. That gave it a share of 20.2 percent.
