Nicki Minaj will host the 20th anniversary edition of the MTV EMAs in Glasgow, Scotland, this November.
MTV made the announcement on Tuesday. Minaj, who performed at the MTV VMAs with Usher, will release her third studio album, The PinkPrint, later this year.
Tweeted the “Anaconda” singer just after midnight L.A. time: “So excited to announce that I will not only perform, but I have the honorable task of HOSTING this year’s #MTVEMA!”
The MTV Europe Music Awards show will air live from the SSE Hydro venue in Glasgow on Sunday, Nov. 9, across MTV’s global network of more than 60 channels reaching nearly 700 million households around the world. The show will also be syndicated.

Minaj has been nominated in four categories at the awards, including best female, best hip-hop, biggest fans and best look. Katy Perry is nominated for seven honors, with boy bands One Direction and 5 Seconds of Summer also up for awards.
The awards show honor artists from around the world and across genres. Bruce Gillmer and Richard Godfrey will executive produce the show.
