The Avengers and Silver Linings Playbook topped the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday night, winning three nods apiece.
The Avengers took the night’s biggest honor, movie of the year, along with best villain and best fight.

Meanwhile, Silver Linings stars Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper scored two trophies apiece, including for best female and best male performance. Together, they also won best kiss.
Pitch Perfect star Rebel Wilson hosted the show, which aired live on MTV (with a tape delay on the West Coast) from Culver City. Wilson went home with two golden popcorn trophies, for breakthrough performance and best musical moments, the latter of which was shared with her Pitch Perfect castmates.
Meanwhile, Jamie Foxx was presented with the Generation Award by his Django Unchained co-star Kerry Washington; Will Ferrell was handed the inaugural Comedic Genius Award by Peter Dinklage; and Emma Watson received the Trailblazer Award from her My Week With Marilyn co-star Eddie Redmayne, The Perks of Being a Wallflower co-star Logan Lerman and Jonah Hill, who in a taped message revealed his dream co-star in the film adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey with Watson (a joke referencing her emphatic denial of reports that she would star in the movie).
Also during the show, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis performed their hit “Can’t Hold Us,” while Selena Gomez delivered a Bollywood dance-inspired rendition of her new single, “Come & Get It.”
