In preparation for their big movie coming out on Nov. 23, The Muppets stopped by WWE Raw on Monday night to reach out to a different audience for their family friendly movie.
Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy are used to being in front of camera, but the crowd at the WWE Raw event was probably a very different audience for them.

Miss Piggy started with a heartfelt speech, saying, “Speaking for both Kermie and myself – the original diva – I just want to say how honored –“
The leading porcine was then interrupted by WWE character Vickie Guerrero and Jack Swagger. Guerrero complains of having to share her airtime with “a bunch of livestock,” while Swagger taunts Kermit, saying, ““It ain’t easy being green? How about it ain’t easy being a plate of frog legs?”

Sadly for Swagger and Guerrero, they are both out-witted and out-acted by the fuzzy puppets.
Miss Piggy did not seem intimidated when WWE Diva Kelly Kelly stopped by either. “Is she a cowboy or pirate?” asked Piggy when Kelly walked out in a white cowboy hat, white fur-covered boots and carrying a sword.

In the next segment Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and Beaker make an appearance, and it turns out that Beaker has a relative in the WWE.
Miss Piggy, Kermit, Dr. Bunsen Honeydew, Beaker and the rest of the Muppets gang will be back on the big screen after 12 years in Disney’s upcoming film, which also stars Jason Segel (who co-wrote the project) and Amy Adams.

The Muppets are not the first film stars to stop by WWE Raw in the past few months. Hugh Jackman also made an appearance to promote his robot boxing film Real Steel.
