The Napa Valley Film Festival has unveiled the full lineup for its sixth iteration.
Garth Davis’ Lion, which stars Dev Patel and Nicole Kidman, will open the festival, with Patel expected to attend the California-based event. The culinary doc Pisco Punch: A Cocktail Comeback Story will close out the fest.
Special screenings include the Miles Teller-starring boxer movie Bleed for This, the family dramedy Captain Fantastic and Jessica Chastain’s Miss Sloane. Mr. Church, the animated The Red Turtle and the doc Gleason also will screen.
“We’re excited to welcome everyone back to Napa Valley for another year of outstanding cinematic storytelling,” said NVFF co-founder Marc Lhormer. “On top of another great batch of films, our team and partners have collaborated on a series of memorable and surprising special events, as well as an incredible array of food and wine experiences. We expect this to be an epic year.”
At the fest, Zoey Deutch and Glen Powell will each receive the Chandon Rising Star Tribute, with Chloe Grace Moretz and Patel receiving the Raymond Vineyards Trailblazer Tribute. Viggo Mortensen will be given this year’s Spotlight Tribute. Charles Krug Legendary Filmmaker and Actor Tributes will be presented to Lee Daniels and Kurt Russell, respectively.
The Napa Valley Film Festival is set to run Nov. 9-13.
