Nasty Gal — the L.A.-based e-commerce juggernaut founded by Sophia Amoruso in 2006 as an eBay store — is showing no signs of slowing its explosive growth. CEO Amoruso announced via Twitter Thursday that the company plans to expand to its first brick-and-mortar.
On the heels of the company reportedly bringing in nearly $130 million in sales last year, Amoruso plans to release a book next May titled, #GirlBoss: How to Write Your Own Rules While Turning Heads and Turning Profits — highlighting how she transformed her one-woman operation into a company employing more than 300.
We can hardly wait for Nasty Gal’s in-store debut — let’s just hope its treasure trove of vintage Chanel will be available there, too.
