Excited to see Marvel’s superheroes join Disney Infinity this fall? The new gameplay trailer for Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes teases out some details of the game’s storyline and introduces the Infinity version of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.
The trailer reveals not just the Infinity incarnations of the Avengers — Captain America, Thor, Iron Man, Black Widow, Hawkeye and Hulk, matching the movie lineup — but also Loki, one of the villains in the game (although Disney points out that he’s “not working alone”), and a number of frozen henchmen who just may be the Frost Giants of Thor’s comic book mythology.

The Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes starter pack will include the Avengers Play Set and Toy Box modes of gameplay, as well as three Avengers figurines (Iron Man, Thor and Black Widow; Captain America, Hulk and Hawkeye will be available separately).
According to Disney, additional Marvel sets and characters will be announced in the near future; Spider-Man and Guardians of the Galaxy characters Rocket Raccoon and Groot are expected to be among those making appearances in the game. More details about Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes’ roll-out schedule will be released in coming months.
