STORY: Amazon Studios Broadens Its Development Slate to Include Shorts
The coming-of-age project is being overseen by Amazon Studios exec Brianna Little. Amazon Studios optioned the project back in November 2013.
Amazon Studios, an original film and series production arm of Amazon.com, launched in 2010. The company has continued to expand, launching an initiative that evaluates so-called concept videos for possible development as shorts in 2013. As with the company’s script submission process, there is a 45-day option and evaluation period.
