Hardy’s name has been linked to the role of several weeks, but his busy schedule had to be ironed out to make the date work. The film will start production on Sept. 22, 2014, and is eyeing a fall 2015 release.
Anonymous Content’s Steve Golin, Keith Redmon and David Kanter will produce the film along with Inarritu, Arnon Milchan and James Skotchdopole. Paul Green, Brett Ratner and James Packer are executive producing. RatPac is co-financing with New Regency.
