Johnson played guitar and sang on the streets of Toronto on Friday while wearing the recognizable outfit. The idea for the performance was hatched by Johnson’s friend David Yost, who played the Blue Ranger on the fondly remembered ’90s children’s series
Johnson posted photos to Instagram of herself rocking out in the Pink Ranger duds. “So grateful for the love today!!” she wrote. “So much stinking fun! All for the love of The Space Between!” The pics were taken by Marc Levy, and more of his images from the event can be seen here.
She will serve as the writer, director and star of the forthcoming film, which focuses on a guy who learns he is not the biological father of his child. Michael Cram, Sonya Salomaa and David Paetkau also star. To support the film’s campaign, which continues until Nov. 23, click here.
